Former B.C. Lions standout Rick Klassen dies at age 57

KAMLOOPS — Former BC Lion defensive lineman Rick Klassen has died at the age of 57 following a battle with cancer.

Klassen played ten seasons in the Canadian Football League, nine with the BC Lions, winning a Grey Cup in 1985, and one season with the Saskatchewan Rough Riders.

Klassen is on the BC Lions All-Time Dream Team and also on the BC Lions Wall of Fame.
