Latest WCT production 'Blithe Spirit' features local talent

KAMLOOPS — Western Canada Theatre has lifted the curtain on it's latest production at the Sagebrush Theatre, and it's expected to be a popular show.

Blithe Spirit - a smash hit on London and Broadway stages is a supernatural comedy by English Playwright Noel Coward.

Seeking background material for a mystery he is working on Novelist Charles invites an eccentric medium to his home to conduct a seance but when her seance proves successful Charles' marriage is suddenly in jeopardy. As the ghost of his first wife Elvira comes back to haunt him. Charles works to get rid of Elvira, but at the same time she is trying to get rid of of his new wife.

The show is full of laughs and features local talent, four actors from kamloops.

Blithe Spirit runs now through October 15th at the Sagebrush Theatre.
