Police looking for Wildlife Park ATM thieves

KAMLOOPS — Police say they want to put the two men who stole an ATM from the BC Wildlife Park into a cage.

The theft happened early yesterday morning, when the culprits smashed through the front glass windows and made it into the main building’s lobby.

Surveillance footage shows the men were driving a black SUV-type vehicle, but the suspects were wearing facial coverings, and the lighting wasn’t good, so the footage gave investigators few hints.

Corporal Jodi Shelkie says there’s only so much a business can do to secure a stand-alone ATM.
