KAMLOOPS — The streets of Kamloops were packed on Sunday morning, with 600 runners from across B.C. and around the world taking part in the fifth annual Sport Chek Kamloops Marathon.

The race is a fundraiser for TRU Wolfpack athletes and brought in close to $10,000 this year. The marathon, which has grown every year, saw record participation once again.

The fundraising total was padded at the end of the marathon when the men’s winner, Ken Ginnan, gave back his winnings of $500 to the Wolfpack.
