Vancouver runners win Kamloops Marathon

KAMLOOPS — Vancouver’s Ken Ginnan has won the Kamloops Marathon.

Ginnan, who had finished in the top five in two previous marathon’s, won this years race in a time of two hours, 49 minutes and 52 seconds —- just under ten minutes ahead of the second place finisher.

For a third straight year Rika Hatachi from Coquitlam won the women’s race, in a time of three hours, six minutes and 44 seconds.

Just over 600 runners took part in the 5th annual Kamloops Marathon.
