KAMLOOPS — City Council is hoping the federal government will help with costs to replace the indoor track at the Tournament Capital Centre.

The City is going after $500,000 from the Canada 150 Community Infrastructure program to help replace the track.

The track has been used so much since being installed nine years ago that parts of the track are badly in need of repair.

The cost to replace the track is $1.5 million dollars.
