KAMLOOPS — A two-vehicle accident Monday afternoon (May 23)  at 6th and Seymour looked a lot worse than it turned out to be.

Just after 4:00 PM, RCMP Staff Sergeant Ed Preto says an SUV travelling east on Seymour was going through the intersection on a green light, when it was smacked by a southbound car travelling on 6th.

The car ran a red light, and hit the SUV with such force that the SUV overturned and landed on its roof.

Noone in either vehicle suffered any serious injuries fortunately.

Police say the driver of the car had difficulty for some reason in stopping her car at the red light and went into the intersection at a pretty high rate of speed.

Police still investigating.
