KAMLOOPS — Two men are in custody after a suspected shooting on the Skeetchestn Reserve west of Kamloops around 3 this morning

RCMP Sergent Sascha Fesenko says witnesses reported seeing two males carrying rifles.

He says, “Tk’emlups members, with the assistance of Kamloops detachment members, surrounded the residence the two males were observed entering. There were no other occupants inside the home. After approximately three hours police were able to make contact with the males inside, taking both into police custody without incident.”

Sergeant Fesenko says Police believe shots were fired but says they are still investigating.

There are no reported injuries.

He adds a shot gun and a rifle were recovered but says RCMP do not know if they're related to this incident.
