Fire destroys motorhome in Westsyde

KAMLOOPS — A Westsyde resident will be looking for a new RV this summer.

Kamloops Fire Rescue were called to the 37-hundred block of Westsyde Road just after midnight last night to find a motorhome fully engulfed in flames.

The motorhome had been parked underneath BC Hydro and Telus lines, and those briefly caught fire as well.

BC Hydro’s website does not show that the fire caused an outage.

Crews were able to put the fire out before it spread, but the motorhome was destroyed.
