Valleyview/Westsyde 0-for-2 at B.C. Boys Basketball

KAMLOOPS — Two Kamloops teams are at the B.C. Boys Basketball championships in Langley.

Playing in the triple “AAA” tournament the Valleyview Vikings, seeded 10th, lost a close one 63-59 to number 7 Robert Bateman.

Free throws told the story.

Bateman shot 38 from the line to the Vikings 9.

Westsyde is in the double “AA” tournament.

Seeded 14th Westsyde lost 61-55 to number 3 seed Collingwood.
