KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP are still searching for suspects in a frightening shooting Thursday night, and say the victim is offering no help.

The 32 year old man was shot in the leg in a parking lot near the intersection of Copperhead Drive and Versatile Drive Thursday night.

He stumbled into The Verse service station and collapsed while awaiting medical attention.

Police believe there were multiple suspects who fled in a pair of small, light coloured vehicles, heading eastbound on Versatile.

The victim is well known to police, and Mounties say is not co-operating with their investigation.

RCMP say the man's leg injuries are serious but not life-threatening.
