TNRD, library staff agree on three-year pact

KAMLOOPS — The Thompson-Nicola Regional District has announced a contract settlement with its library workers.

More than 100 members of the BC Government and Service Employees’ Union ratified the three-year deal on Monday.

According to the TNRD, the deal includes a 4.5 per cent wage increase over the term of the contract, with a tiered wage scale for new hires.

The previous deal expired on January 1 of this year.
