KAMLOOPS — JC Lipon made his NHL debut with the Winnipeg Jets last night in the Jets 2-1 loss to Colorado.

Lipon had seven minutes and 11 seconds of ice time, in which the former Blazer had one hit, one takeaway and no points, but, says head coach Paul Maurice, did his job.

Lipon was called up from the American League Manitoba Moose because of injuries on the Jets.
