Yellowhead crash kills Clearwater man

KAMLOOPS — RCMP say a Clearwater man died in a crash north of Kamloops yesterday.

It happened at about 1:00 pm when a southbound Chevrolet Lumina crossed the centre line and hit a northbound semi truck head-on.

Emergency responders say the driver of the car, who is in his late 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators say it appears the driver had lost control on slushy roads.

Police remind drivers to slow down on winter roads.
