UPDATE at 7:35 a.m. – Most power outages in the Kamloops area have been repaired. The cause of the outages remains unclear.
KAMLOOPS – Thousands of homes are businesses are without power this morning in the Kamloops area.
The BC Hydro outage map is revealing two large outages affecting homes and businesses in the Upper Sahali area. Power went out shortly after 4 a.m.
Another outage occurred at the same time on the other side of the city. It’s impacting businesses along Halston Avenue east of the North Thompson river.
