Man found dead in vehicle just east of Kamloops

KAMLOOPS — RCMP say they are investigating a sudden death discovered just outside Kamloops Friday morning (Apr. 24).
According to a news release from RCMP Southeast District media spokesman Cpl. Jesse O’Donaghey, Kamloops Rural RCMP members were called to the area of Barnhartvale Road and Highway 97 at about 6:30 a.m.
A man had been found dead inside a vehicle.
O’Donaghey says the man was in his 60s, and though criminal activity is not suspected in the man’s death, RCMP and the BC Coroners Service will try to determine the circumstances around his death.
