Championship rematch in the Kamloops men’s fastpitch league

KAMLOOPS — The championship series is set in the Kamloops Major Men’s Fastpitch League.

It will be a rematch of the last two finals. The HD Bombers, the champions in 2017 and 2018, will defend their title in a best-of-three series against the Frenchy’s Prowlers starting Thursday night at Charles Anderson Stadium.

The HD Bombers advanced to the final with a 12-4 semi-final win over the Kamloops Cardinals on Tuesday night. The Cardinals jumped out to a 4-2 lead in the third inning, but the Bombers’ bounced back with 10 straight runs to take the victory.

The Frenchy’s Prowlers eliminated Lillooet with a 9-2 victory to move on.
