Julianne Nicholson To Reprise Emmy-Winning ‘Mare of Easttown’ Role In HBO’s ‘Task’ Season 2

Julianne Nicholson will return as Lori Ross in Season 2 of HBO’s Task, reprising her Emmy-winning role from Mare of Easttown. The casting marks the first connection between the two series, both created by Brad Ingelsby and set in Philadelphia’s working-class suburbs. Nicholson will play Lori Ross, a mother of three from Easttown. Season 2 follows Tom Brandis, played by Mark Ruffalo, leading a new task force in an increasingly murky operation. Nicholson joins returning cast members Mahershala Ali, Harry Melling, Adam Nagaitis, Aminah Nieves, and Edgar Ramírez. The season is currently in pre-production.
