KATY PERRY EYEING FUTURE RESIDENCY AT COLOSSEUM AT CAESARS PALACE?: Katy Perry might just make a full-time move to The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. Perry is reportedly looking to net a Las Vegas residency, according to the Las Vegas Review Journal. Perry, 34, was spotted touring the venue on Friday with Caesars Entertainment officials “to discuss a possible residency.” The Colosseum is currently looking to fill the void left by Celine Dion, who recently wrapped a legendary 16-year stint at the Caesars Palace venue. Perry has a lot on her plate, between her role on American Idol, her Katy Perry Collections shoe line, and rumored new music on the way.

SELENA GOMEZ ZOMBIE MOVIE TO KICK OFF CANNES FILM FESTIVAL: Selena Gomez may be headed to France next month. Her new movie The Dead Don’t Die, a zombie flick also starring Bill Murray, Danny Glover, Rosie Perez, Chloe Sevigny, Adam Driver and Tilda Swinton, will open this year’s Cannes Film Festival on May 14th. The comedy-horror is about zombies attacking the peaceful town of Centerville. Murray, Sevigny and Driver play deputies who have to fight the undead. Selena plays a character named Zoe, and she’s not the only musician in the film: Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Iggy Pop and Tom Waitsalso appear, as does Wu-Tang Clan founder RZA. The movie will compete for the festival’s top prize, the Palme d’Or. The Dead Don’t Die opens in U.S. theaters June 14th. A trailer, in which Selena briefly appears, is out now.

AVICII AND ALOE BLACC REUNITE FOR POSTHUMOUS SINGLE ‘S.O.S.’: Avicii and Aloe Blacc reunite on the new song “SOS,” the first offering from the late producer’s posthumous album, Tim, out June 6th. The song was accompanied by a music video featuring words of praise for the artist born Tim Berglingfrom his fans. All net proceeds from the record will go to the nonprofit founded in his name – the Tim Bergling Foundation – which works to prevent mental illness and suicide. Tim consists of songs Avicii was working on last year before his death at age 28 in April 2018. It features contributions from Coldplay’s Chris Martin, Carl Falk, Albin Nedler, Kristoffer Fogelmark, and others.

JUSTIN BIEBER & LIL DICKY TO RELEASE NEW SONG: Justin Bieber and Lil Dicky will drop their new track next week, TMZ reports. Justin will reportedly be featured on Dicky’s single, marking Justin’s first release since “No Brainer,” which came out last July with DJ Khaled, Quavo, and Chance the Rapper. Justin retweeted Dicky’s post on Tuesday, which reads, “New song and video next week.” Justin hasn’t dropped a solo song for more than three years; he released his Purpose album in November of 2015.

BTS DANCES IN NEW TEASER FOR ‘BOY WITH LUV’ FT. HALSEY: BTS is giving fans a new glimpse of their “Boy with Luv” music video. The K-pop group released a new preview Wednesday for “Boy with Luv,” the forthcoming single with Halsey. The teaser shows BTS members Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, Vand Jungkook dancing on an illuminated stage. The group also performs in the center of a retro-themed stage. BTS shared a first preview of the video Sunday. The teaser shows Halsey complete her shift at the ticket booth of a movie theater. “Boy with Luv” appears on BTS’ forthcoming album Map of the Soul: Persona. The full music video and the album both debut Friday. BTS announced plans for Map of the Soul: Persona in March. The album is a followup to Love Yourself: Answer, which debuted in August.
