Prince William‘s lawyers are hitting back hard after U.K. media outlets continue to report that he cheated on his wife Kate Middleton while she was pregnant with their third child. Attorneys for London law firm Harbottle and Lewis have fired off letters threatening legal action, according to reports.

“In addition to being false and highly damaging, the publication of false speculation in respect of our clients’ private life also constitutes a breach of his privacy pursuant to Article 8 of the European Convention to Human Rights,” the letter reads.

The rumor is, William stepped out with their neighbor, the Marchioness of Cholmondeley, Rose Hanbury, while Kate was expecting Louis.

The Palace has reportedly also pressured reporters; when Giles Coren, a writer for the Times of London sent a tweet out about it, it was almost immediately deleted, reportedly due to the Palace’s demands.
