J-Lo’s 50th Present to you!

Jennifer Lopez will celebrate her 50th birthday by touring the U.S. The singer and actress, who turns 50 July 24th, shared plans for her “It’s My Party” summer tour during Wednesday’s episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

She said, “My birthday’s in July and so this summer I decided I wanted to do something big for my birthday, since it is a big birthday. I’m going on a U.S. tour! It’s called It’s My Party. “We’re going to celebrate! We’re only doing I think 25, 28 shows. It’ll be all throughout June and July.”

Besides performances by Lopez, the tour will also feature the “World of Dance Experience,” including surprise guest dance performances from Lopez’ NBC dance show World of Dance. Tickets for the It’s My Party tour are not yet on sale, but JLo told DeGeneres that fans should keep their eye out for more information in the coming weeks.

While on Ellen, Lopez also shared a story about how her boyfriend, former New York Yankees player Alex Rodriguez, surprised her with a consultation with Fixer Upper alum Joanna Gaines for their two-year anniversary as a couple.

“I’m obsessed with Fixer Upper,” the star said. “We actually got a little fixer upper next to the water … I was like, ‘Wouldn’t it be amazing to have [Joanna] do it for us?’ Because she doesn’t do anything outside Waco.”

The singer had all but accepted she wouldn’t be receiving design help from Gaines when Rodriguez requested her presence at a meeting about the house.

“He opens up FaceTime and it’s Joanna Gaines. And I was like, ‘Are you kidding?! Hi!’ I totally fangirled out. And she was like, ‘Hi,’ just like she is on the show.”

Thankfully, Gaines said that she would help out if she could on Lopez and Rodriguez’s new property. “She was like ‘I don’t do things, but I will help you with this and that.’ And I was like, ‘Yes just help me, just a little bit! You don’t even have to come out here, I know you have the baby. How’s the baby?’”

Gaines shares five children with husband and business partner Chip. At 7 months, Crew is their youngest. His older siblings are Emmie Kay, 8, Duke, 9, Ella Rose, 12, and Drake, 14.

The couple are advocates of quality family time. Not having enough of it was among the reasons they ended their hit HGTV show Fixer Upper, which had its final episode in April 2018.
