Meghan Markle’s Drama Continues

Over the weekend, Thomas Markle opened his mouth again after weeks of relative quiet. He told The Mail how angry he was about the “wall of silence” his daughter Meghan Markle and her husband Prince Harry had erected between them, weighed in on the rumored feud Meghan is having with sister-in-law Kate Middleton and shared old letters she wrote him.

In a particularly cringe-worthy aside, he claimed that Meghan and first husband Trevor gave out baggies of marijuana to their wedding guests. “It’s illegal, but it’s no big deal in Jamaica,” he blabbed. “It’s almost customary down there. I don’t smoke weed and to the best of my knowledge nor does Meghan. I don’t know what I did with mine. I think I gave it away. I kept the bag and I use it to keep the sea air off one of my Emmys.”

Meghan is horrified by her father’s continued conversations with the press, and according to a source close to her, has told him that she won’t speak with him until he stops talking to the press, Vanity Fair reports.

“Meghan made it clear that they could only have a relationship if he kept his silence,” the friend said. “She told him that he couldn’t speak to the press, plain and simple. But he keeps doing that, and so she feels that she cannot trust him.”

PALACE SHAKE-UP

Meanwhile on the home front, Meghan and Harry will lose their trusted aide Samantha Cohen next year, according to reports. Cohen became their private secretary and chief of staff over the summer. She will reportedly leave after a replacement is found.

The mother of three was previously Queen Elizabeth‘s assistant private secretary and press spokeswoman.

This news comes on the heels of Meghan’s assistant Melissa Toubati leaving after six months in the fall and rumors of her being a “difficult” and “demanding” boss.
