GRAMMY NOMINATIONS POSTPONED: Nominations for the 2019 Grammy Awards will be postponed two days until Friday, December 7th, out of respect for the scheduled memorial services for President George H.W. Bush. The nominations were originally set to be announced on Wednesday, December 5th. The 61st Annual Grammy Award honor the best in recordings released between Oct. 1, 2017 and Sept. 30, 2018. The awards special will air Sunday, Feb. 10, 2019 on CBS.

MICHAEL B. JORDAN ON BLACK PANTHER‘S IMPACT: Since its February release, Black Panther has become a worldwide phenomenon; star Michael B. Jordan is still processing it, he tells Variety. “It was truly incredible. While we were making it, you didn’t really realize it. And then in hindsight, it’s like, ‘Yeah, we kind of did that,” Jordan tells Charlize Theron during Variety’s Actors on Actors series. “It’s not just the African experience. That’s what it’s framed in, but it gives everybody else access to that same type of self-discovery,” he says. “And that’s when I really started to realize the impact that it was going to have.”

YOU TO MOVE TO NETFLIX: Lifetime‘s drama You is heading to Netflix for its second season. The psychological thriller will launch December 26th. Lifetimeoriginally renewed You, starring Penn Badgley and Elizabeth Lail, for a second season in July ahead of its premiere, but has shifted its focus to original movies.

NEXSTAR CONFIRMS $4.1B TRIBUNE MEDIA BUY: Nexstar is now the top local TV station in the U.S. Nexstar confirmed its $4.1 billion acquisition of Tribune Media, which expands its reach by 50%. The merger is reportedly worth $6.4 billion, including the assumption of debt.
