ANNABELLE NEILSON DEAD AT 49: Annabelle Neilson, an English aristocrat and star of Bravo‘s Ladies of London, has died at age 49. The details of her death are not available, People notes. In addition to starring in the reality series, she modeled and was close friends with Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell, in addition to the prominent fashion designer Alexander McQueen, who committed suicide in 2010. “He was my brother, my boyfriend, my soulmate. Most of the time people called me Mrs. McQueen. Quite often we were sharing a bed,” Neilson, who was the last person to see the designer alive, told the Daily Mail in 2015. Neilson has struggled with drug addiction in the past.
JOHNNY DEPP SETTLES $25M SUIT: Johnny Depp has settled his $25 million suit with his former business managers. Deadline reports that the confidential settlement was made after an intense weekend of negotiations, and both sides are satisfied. No word on the details, but their agreement is expected to be signed and approved before a scheduled August 15th trial date in which Depp and his former managers tussled over claims from the managers that Depp’s exorbitant spending led to financial distress, and his claims that they defrauded him of millions. Depp is still facing suits, including an assault suit from a location manager on the upcoming City of Lies, plus a back-pay and abuse suit leveled by his former bodyguards.
JENNIFER GARNER SHARES HER SECRET TO SUCCESS: Simply saying “yes,” has brought Jennifer Garner success as an actress, businesswoman and mother, she tells Good Morning America. “The best risk I’ve ever taken: saying yes,” Garner said, offering a glimpse into her road to fame. “Somebody said, ‘Do you just want to go on an audition?’ And I said, ‘Yes.’ And I got a job understudying at the Roundabout Theatre and one thing led to another,” the award-winning actress said. “That has happened so many times in my life where I’ve been like, ‘Yeah, I’ll do that.’ Something will get screwed up, so just say yes. You get more from saying yes than saying no.” The 46-year-old says she as annual “Yes Day” with her kids Violet, Seraphina and Samuel. She says “yes” to all of their requests, within reason. “The toy store or getting ears pierced or buying a puppy – those are not up for grabs,” she explained. “All day I say yes. They just love it. It’s so fun.” Garner was also promoting her new company, Once Upon a Farm, which sells organic baby food made on farms across the country.
AMANDA SEYFRIED ADMITS HUSBAND WAS JEALOUS OF HER WORK WITH EX: When Amanda Seyfried reunited with ex-boyfriend Dominic Cooper in Mamma Mia!
