REPORT: ANTHONY BOURDAIN CREMATED IN FRANCE: As the world continues to mourn his death, Anthony Bourdain‘s body was cremated in France on Wednesday, People reports. His ashes will be flown back to the U.S. on Friday. The 61-year-old chef and TV show host was found dead of suicide in hotel room by his close friend Eric Ripert. The pair were filming an upcoming episode of CNN‘s Parts Unknown. He is survived by his mother, Gladys, 83, his daughter Ariane, 11, and his wife Ottavia Busia, from whom he was separated.
JAMIE FOXX ACCUSED OF SLAPPING WOMAN IN FACE WITH PENIS: A woman has accused Jamie Foxx of slapping her in the face with his penis in 2002, per TMZ. Foxx has denied the allegations, calling them an “absurd” lie. The woman claims she and a friend were partying with Foxx when he asked her for oral sex, a request she denied. When she refused, the Oscar-winner slapped her in the face with his penis, she claims. “Jamie emphatically denies that this incident ever occurred, and he will be filing a report with the Las Vegas Police Department against the woman for filing a false police report against him,” Jamie’s attorney, Allison Hart of Lavely & Singer, told TMZ. “The first time [Jamie] became aware of this woman’s absurd claims about an incident that supposedly occurred 16 years ago was when TMZ contacted his representatives [Tuesday] about this story.”
WILL MEGHAN MARKLE GET AN EMMY? Despite her royal status after marrying Prince Harry on May 19th, Meghan Markle may be in the running for an Emmy Award. A USA Network rep has confirmed that the 36-year-old’s name was submitted for the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series category for her role as Rachel Zane in Suits.
FARRAH ABRAHAM SAYS SHE WILL SHARE ARREST STORY: After her arrest at the Beverly Hills Hotel, Farrah Abraham is claiming that there is “another side” to the story. TMZ reported that the Teen Mom alum was arrested after attacking a staff member. On Wednesday, her publicist told Page Six, “At this time we thank everyone for Farrah’s concern [sic] and will assure [sic] that when she is released Farrah will release a statement on her behalf.”
