FIRST LOOK AT WONDER WOMAN 1984: Fans are getting their first look at the sequel to Wonder Woman. Actress Gal Gadot and director Patty Jenkins shared stills from the Warner Bros. movie on social. Jenkins posted a shot of Chris Pine, whose character sacrificed himself at the end of the first film. No word on why she shared a shot of him. Gadot shared a pic of her character looking at a series of stills, captioning it “Wonder Woman 1984 #WW84”. The original film raked in $821.9 million globally.

DUMBO TRAILER DROPS: Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures released the first teaser trailer for Dumbo. Helmed by Tim Burton, the live-action adventure will expand on the original animated version, released in 1941. Danny DeVito, Colin Farrell, Eva Green, Nico Parker and Finley Hobbins star. Dumbo is set to sprout wings March 29th, 2019.

COMEDY CENTRAL ORDERS LATE NIGHT SHOW WITH ABBY ELLIOTT: Saturday Night Live alum Abby Elliott is teaming up with Reductress co-founders on a late-night talk show at Comedy Central. The working title is The Reductress Hour, which The Hollywood Reporter says will “take on the absurdities of women’s news, trends, broader national subjects and entertainment television while tackling various issues of the week, original segments and field interviews.” Reductress co-founders Beth Newell and Sarah Pappalardo will exec produce and Elliott will host.

RUPAUL’S DRAG RACE RENEWED: VH1 has ordered a new season of RuPaul’s Drag Race. The new 11thseason will follow the current 10thseason, which is scheduled to conclude June 28th. Season 10 is averaging 794,000 viewers 18-49 in Nielsen live-plus-seven data, with 1.2 million total viewers, making it the most-watched season of the series to date. “We are thrilled that Drag Race will continue to lead the conversation of inclusion and diversity as the show embarks on its eleventh season,” Pamela Post, senior VP, original programming and development at VH1, said in a statement. “It’s unprecedented for a show to continue to grow on the scale that Drag Race has, and it’s just the beginning.”
