BRIAN DE PALMA’S WEINSTEIN-INSPIRED FILM GETS TITLE: The Brian De Palma‘s horror project drawing inspiration from the Harvey Weinstein sexual assault scandal has been dubbed Predator, Deadline reports. Ben Said, producer of Paul Verhoeven‘s award-winning Elle, has signed onto produce with partner Michael Merkt. De Palma said that he will use the Toronto Film Festival as the backdrop for the predator’s attacks. Production is set to begin in a year. MATTHEW MCCONAUGHEY AND SON MAKE THE BEST OF IT IN WHITE BOY RICK: A trailer for White Boy Rick has dropped. The film follows the true life experience of a 14-year-old FBI snitch and drug dealer in 1984 Detroit as the crack epidemic swept through the country. Richie Merritt stars as the titular teen Rick. He talks his dad (Matthew McConaughey) into working with the feds. Jennifer Jason Leigh, Bruce Dern, and Atlanta’s Brian Tyree Henry also star. White Boy Rick drops September 14th.

ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK PREMIERE REVEALED: Orange Is the New Black will return to Netflix Friday, July 27th. “This is a whole new world,” Piper Chapman (Taylor Schilling) says in the Orange Is the New Black season six date announcement. The new tagline promises season six will go “To the Max.” Laura Prepon, Jackie Cruz, Diane Guerrero and Laura Gomez, among many others, star.

CHELSEA PERETTI TO LEAD SPINSTER: Stand-up comic, writer and Brooklyn Nine-Nine regular Chelsea Peretti has been set to star in Spinster, a comedy directed by Andrea Dorfman. The story focuses on Gaby (Peretti), a woman dumped on her 39thbirthday and facing a life alone (not to mention her worst fear of being a sad, lonely spinster).
