BTS NOTCH FIRST TOP 10 BILLBOARD HOT 100 HIT FOR A K-POP GROUP: BTS just keep making history. When it comes to K-Pop acts, only PSY has charted higher in the United States, when “Gangnam Style” hit No. 2 in 2012 and “Gentleman” went to No. 5 in 2013. Plus, “Fake Love” went to No. 1 on the Digital Song Sales chart – another record for K-Pop groups.

ED SHEERAN’S MANAGER SAYS ED IS ‘ALREADY RECORDING’ HIS NEXT PROJECT: Ed Sheeran’s manager reveals the singer is currently recording his next project, but it’ll probably be a couple of years before he releases a follow-up to Divide. Stuart Camp tells Billboard, “He’s already recording. Typical Ed, he’s probably got around three or four albums tucked up his sleeve although I think it will be sometime in 2020 possibly before the next record.” For the time being, Ed’s got enough on his plate to carry him into next year, starting with the European and U.S. legs of the Divide tour. Plus, Ed will likely continue writing for other artists as well. Camp adds, “We still have to be careful when we release another record because there will be even more expectation on the next one, but we know that we’ll get it right. We’re not going to rush it.”

CHRISTINA AGUILERA TALKS COLLABORATING WITH DEMI LOVATO: Christina Aguilera and Demi Lovato’s fiery duet, “Fall in Line,” has been making waves since it was released nearly two weeks ago. Christina explains to Entertainment Weekly why she chose Demi to sing on the track. “I respect women who are no-nonsense and ballsy,” she says of Demi. “She has a past that she’s overcome and I relate to that a lot. And she’s definitely been vocal about how I’ve been an inspiration to her and I find that so kind and endearing. I appreciate when women support each other.” Christina adds, “We just fit together like an Oreo cookie.” She says the two are the same height and that Demi is the “dark-haired version and I’m the blonde-haired version.” In addition to all those similarities, Christina says the track needed a “bada** girl” who could “own the song with me.” Christina’s new album, Liberation, comes out June 15th.
