Hilary Duff Throws Hate on Neighbour

Hilary Duff took to Instagram Wednesday to let off some steam about her neighbor Dieter Addison.

“Calling all New Yorkers with a–hole neighbors-really open to any advice you have,” the Younger star said via her Instagram Stories. “My neighbor smokes cigarettes and weed all night long. My apartment reeks. Seriously, what do I do?”

• She continued: “We know your parents pay your rent. We know you’ve never worked a day in your life-must be nice,” she continued. “Have some respect for your neighbors who work hard to live in that building. Don’t be a d— dude-and put your trash down the shoot.”
• Duff ranted on, saying she’d worked 15 hours and didn’t get any sleep thanks to his antics.
• “Worked 15 hours yesterday and back at work again at 5:30 a.m.,” she wrote on Instagram. “This is the real world Dieter the [eggplant emoji]. Your smoking ain’t delicious.”
• She then found his Instagram profile, which is set to private, and shared a close-up of it with her 9.2 million followers.
• Duff also objected to the noise he makes when arguing with his partner. “It scares me and my kid,” she wrote, referencing her son Luca. “Therapy is cheaper.”
• Speaking to Page Six by phone Wednesday, Addison told the pub that he is hiring a lawyer and that he does not in fact smoke pot.
• “I live with a sober companion, I’ve been sober for months now. I smoke a ton of cigarettes, don’t get me wrong, but this is a smoking building, which is why I signed the lease here.”
• He added that he works three jobs and that her attack online has caused an uproar in his life: “I am getting a lot of hate mail and threats from her fans, it is so bad I’m going to have to get a bodyguard. I am from a very private German family and we are hiring lawyers.”
