Bill Cosby Removed

Bill Cosby‘s name has been removed from the Television Academy’s website, including from the list of honorees in the organization’s Television Hall of Fame, according to Variety. Additionally, the Academy confirmed on Wednesday (May 3rd) a bust of the comedian/actor had been removed during construction at the organization’s North Hollywood campus and it will not return to the display. A spokesperson for the Academy told Variety that the organization has no plans to rescind Cosby’s four Primetime Emmy awards.

Cosby has not been removed from the academy’s Television Hall of Fame, only the online list of Hall of Fame honorees.
