ROSEANNE STAR EMMA KENNEY SAYS SHE IS SEEKING TREATMENT: Roseanne star Emma Kenney, 18, tells In Touch magazine that she is seeking “treatment” for her battles with substance abuse. “I’m going to be seeking treatment for my battles,” she shared in the new issue of In Touch magazine. “I’m going to work through it. I’m going to get help and make better choices.” Kenney claims she has been in trouble for a while now, and is ready to heal. She told In Touch: “I was running with a really fast crowd. I was being naive and very immature, and I was doing things I should not be doing because it was illegal and I’m not 21. It wasn’t healthy, and it was making me feel even worse – anxious and depressed. It was just a slippery slope that I did not want to go down. And I knew that I needed to stop it.” Kenney plays Harris Conner on Roseanne and is set to film a new season of Shameless. (InTouch – Click our Twitter or Facebook buttons to share this link!)

EMILY RATAJKOWSKI SAYS HUSBAND PROPOSED WITH A PAPER CLIP: That’s one way to charm a lady. Emily Ratajkowski surprised the world when she revealed her marriage to actor Sebastian Bear-McClard at NYC’s City Hall six weeks ago, and she was pretty shook herself at the time. On Jimmy Fallon, she explained: “He proposed to me at [New York City restaurant] Minetta Tavern and he didn’t have a ring, so I was like, ‘Mmm, nah.’ And then he took the paper clip that the bill was paid with and made me a ring, which I actually thought was really romantic.” She added that they went to Chinatown to buy an ounce of gold, had a jeweler melt it down and made the official wedding rings from that. “We actually hammered them out, the whole thing, used a little blow torch,” she explained. “And they were supposed to be temporary rings, but now I’m very attached and I really don’t want to get rid of it. I just feel like making it yourself, like could you be more personal, really?”

CHRIS EVANS SHARES SWEET VIDEO OF MEETING HIS DOG: Captain America star Chris Evans shared a sweet video of the first time he met his rescue dog, Dodger. “This is the moment we met,” Evans wrote. “He was trying so hard to stay seated even though he desperately wanted to get out. I knew right away that he was coming home with me, so I took this video to always remember our first hello. Rescue dogs are the best dogs!!” Evans shared the video in part to commemorate National Pet Day.

PATTI LUPONE GIVES UMA THURMAN TWO THUMBS DOWN: Way down! Stage star Patti LuPone spoke out on Uma Thurman‘s stage presence at an event for Marianne Elliott’s Company in London. “I don’t necessarily need to see film actors on stage,” she said. “Can I just say … Uma Thurman in The Parisian Woman, anybody seen it? [Raising her eyes and speaking slowly] Holy s–t! I’m sorry, I’m sorry.” Thurman’s performance, to be fair, was also not well-received by critics. LuPone drove her point home, telling The Guardian: “I’m not sure there is a stigma any more (about film actors doing theater), perhaps there should be.”

PRIYANKA CHOPRA SAYS SHE LOST ROLE BECAUSE OF SKIN COLOR: Quantico star Priyanka Chopra claims she lost out on a role just last year because of her skin color. She told InStyle of hering her “physicality” was the issue: “I’m like, ‘Do I need to be skinnier? Do I need to get in shape? Do I need to have abs?’ Like, what does ‘wrong physicality’ mean?” she said, adding, “And then my agent broke it down for me. Like, ‘I think, Priy, they meant that they wanted someone who’s not brown.’ It affected me.” Chopra added that, despite making over $10 million in 2017 and landing on Variety‘s biannual Power Women list, she still sees a gender pay gap. “I feel it every year, especially when you’re doing movies with really big actors, whether it’s in India or America. If an actor is getting 100 bucks, the conversation will start with max, like, 8 bucks. The gap is that staggering,” she told InStyle. “In America, we don’t talk about it as brashly, whereas in India the issue is not skirted around. I’ve been told straight up, if it’s a female role in a movie with big, male actors attached, your worth is not really considered as much.”

SNOOKI SAYS JERSEY SHORE CAST PAID IN GIFT CARDS: How times have changed! The cast of MTV‘s Jersey Shore did not make the big bucks for the first season of the hit show. “We would get $200 a week from the Shore Store,” Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi told InStyle in their new Money Talks column. “I had never gotten that much in a week, like, every single week, because you usually get paid every two weeks.” These days, the 30-year-old takes the bank she makes and reinvests it. “My main goal is to always try and save, and I invest in properties,” she said. “Me and my husband have a lot of shore houses that we buy, make amazing, and rent out. We’re trying to build on that to have a lot of income.”
