DID STAN LEE’S BIZ ASSOCIATE STEAL HIS BLOOD? File this under truth being stranger than fiction (if it’s true). TMZ is reporting that Stan Lee‘s former business associate approached the Marvel honcho’s personal nurse in October with a forged document giving him authority to nab a blood sample from him. He then allegedly told the nurse to fill several vials, which may have been used to fill special limited edition pens filled with Lee’s blood in lieu of ink. In addition, they believe the unnamed villain stole $300K from him as well. Lee’s team has hired attorney Jonathan Freund to file a police report and a lawsuit. (TMZ)

JOHN LEGEND JUICED AHEAD OF JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR: John Legend prepped for his performance in Sunday night’s Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert on NBC by sticking to a liquid diet. His wife Chrissy Teigen told People that a shirtless scene prompted the Grammy and Oscar-winner to take extreme measures. In all, the 39-year-old fasted for six days. Teigen, who is expecting their second child this Spring plans to put an end to it post-show: “I’m just going to force feed him, basically,” the 32-year-old joked. Teigen, of course, kept fans doubly-entertained by live-tweeting the show. (People)

DRAKE WANTS TO BAN SOCIAL MEDIA POSTS FROM ASSAULT TRIAL: Drake doesn’t want social media to be used as evidence in an upcoming assault trial. Music producer Detail is suing Drake and his bodyguard Chubbs over an alleged 2014 assault at Drake’s L.A. mansion. When he showed up after Drake reached out to him via social media about working together on an upcoming project, Chubbs reportedly punched him so hard he broke his jaw. He was hospitalized and had to undergo several surgeries, he claims. Drake claims Chubbs was acting in self-defense. The case is headed to trial next month. The Blast reports that Drake is asking the judge to ban all evidence of hearsay, including statements made on social media and the Internet, from the trial. (The Blast)

DID MEGHAN MARKLE END FIRST MARRIAGE WITHOUT WARNING? A new book about Meghan Markle from Princess Diana‘s biographer Andrew Morton is considering her first marriage to Trevor Engelson. An excerpt of Meghan, A Hollywood Princess was published in Britain’s The Sunday Times, and in it, Morton reveals new details about her 2011 marriage. According to Morton, soon after their marriage “cracks” began to appear, but their 2013 separation came “totally out of the blue” for Engelson, according to Morton. “Trevor went from cherishing Meghan to, as one friend observed, ‘feeling like he was a piece of something stuck to the bottom of her shoe,’ ” writes Morton.
