TYRA BANKS COPS TO A NOSE JOB: Tyra Banks has had some work done, she admits. “I had bones in my nose that were growing and itching,” Banks told People about her early career decision. “I could breathe fine, but I added cosmetic surgery. I admit it! Fake hair, and I did my nose. I feel I have a responsibility to tell the truth.” Banks recently co-wrote her memoir, Perfect Is Boring, with her mother, Carolyn London. In it, she explained that “natural beauties” who “judge anybody who does anything to themselves” make her uncomfortable. “Fix it or flaunt it – I think women should be able to do both,” she said. “There is a boundary line, either you’re super natural or you live at the plastic surgeon. It’s okay to hop back and forth over that line. You want a hair weave? Fine. You want permanent eyebrows? We as women need to stop judging.”
ROSEANNE RATINGS FOR REVIVAL REBOOT SKY-HIGH: All eyes were on ABC‘s Roseanne reboot Tuesday night. The one-hour premiere nabbed 18.2 million viewers and a 5.1 rating in the 18-49 demographic. They revival actually got higher ratings than the one-hour finale in 1997 (which had 16.6 million viewers). Once DVR is factored in, the 18.2 million is expected to rise. Roseanne Barr, John Goodman, Sara Gilbert, Lecy Goranson and more came back to reprise their roles.
JAMES IVORY SLAMS LACK OF MALE NUDITY: Call Me By Your Name simply did not contain enough full-frontal male nudity, per James Ivory, the 89-year-old screenwriter who adapted the gay coming-of-age romance. In a recent interview with The Guardian, Ivory lashed out at director Luca Guadagnino for the oversight. “[In Maurice], the two guys have had sex and they get up and you certainly see everything there is to be seen,” Ivory continued. “To me, that’s a more natural way of doing things than to hide them, or to do what Luca did, which is to pan the camera out of the window toward some trees. Well …”
TEEN MOM STAR RYAN EDWARDS BUSTED AFTER PREGNANCY NEWS: Teen Mom star Ryan Edwards, 30, got arrested the day after he and his wife, Mackenzie Standifer, 21, announced they’re expecting their first child. A warrant for his arrest was issued for violating probation. He’s already on probation for a previous heroin case. He and fellow Teen Mom star Maci Bookout share a 9-year-old son.
