CAMILA CABELLO’S ‘HAVANA’ GETS THE PENTATONIX TREATMENT: Camila Cabello’s chart-topping smash, “Havana,” has been given the Pentatonix treatment, with the a capella group sharing their new version of the pop hit. Pentatonix’s version of “Havana” arrives in the form of a music video, which finds the vocalists situated in a stately living room setting to put their spin on Cabello’s song.
LORDE, JACK ANTONOFF, NOT DATING: People have been speculating that Lorde and Jack Antonoff are dating ever since Jack split with Lena Dunham last month. But Lorde set the record straight during a recent Instagram Live chat with fans. She started the video wearing only a towel and discussing her love for crafting and books. When the conversation hit a lull, she encouraged her followers to comment something “juicy.” One fan asked: “Did you date Jack?” Lorde replied, laughing, “Guys, no! Never. No. Jack and I are not dating, for the last time! But I love him, he’s awesome. Though we’re not dating!” Lorde collaborated with Jack on her latest album, Melodrama.
DISNEY RELEASES VIDEO FOR NEW ‘FROZEN’ SONG ‘MONSTER’: Disney has released a video of Frozen the Musical star Caissie Levy singing Elsa’s new power ballad “Monster.” The clip for the song shows Levy at a microphone, backed by male singers and an orchestra. The words reveal a heroine wondering if the world is better without her. The stage adaptation of the animated blockbuster began previews on Broadway Thursday. The fairytale previously played an out-of-town engagement in Denver. The producers of the musical have said they will release new songs from the show on Fridays leading up to its official opening in March.
ROBIN THICKE AND GIRLFRIEND APRIL LOVE GEARY WELCOME DAUGHTER: Robin Thicke has announced on Instagram the birth of his daughter Mia. “On 2/22 at 13:33 Mia Love Thicke was born. Thank you God and April Love,” Thicke captioned a video of him cradling his newborn daughter. Thicke and April Love Geary have been dating since 2014. They celebrated the impending birth of their first child with a baby shower last month. Thicke also has a 7-year-old son named Julian Fuego with his ex-wife Paula Patton.
