Britney Spears tweets support to US Athletes

Olympic figure skater Adam Rippon has another famous fan. Britney Spears tweeted a message of support to the bronze medal winner on Friday (February 16th).

The “Toxic” singer wrote, “Hey @Adaripp…. I just wanted let you know that I am a fan, I am not in denial, and that you are THE MOST FUN!!,” she wrote. “Keep making us all smile at the #WinterOlympics and good luck today”

  • Britney also Tweeted support for Olympic skier Gus Kenworthy on Saturday (Feb. 17th) The openly-gay athlete told Elite Daily that he listens to “Gimme More” before he hits the slopes.

    She wrote: “So proud of #TeamUSA!! Hey @guskenworthy, gimme, gimme more on the slopes today!!,” she said, and included the hashtag #ItsGusBitch.

  • Britney also made a splash on Instagram this weekend when she posted about a personal best. She announced to her followers on Saturday (Feb. 19th) that her leaping skills have improved.

    She wrote, “I posted my leap over a year ago and had to see if I could go higher… well… I did!!! But I really should take a ballet class”
