NETFLIX EXEC FIRED AFTER DOWNPLAYING RAPE ACCUSATIONS AGAINST DANNY MASTERSON: Danny Masterson was recently ousted from the Netflix series The Ranch after reports that he had been accused of raping four women came to light. He was previously investigated by the police in the early 2000s, but no charges have been filed. GEORGE CLOONEY ONCE GAVE 14 BFFs $1M EACH: George Clooney‘s friend and business partner Rande Gerber recently spilled on MSNBC‘s Headliners that in 2013, Clooney paid 14 of his closest friends’ taxes for the year and gifted them with $1 million each. (Because he paid the taxes, the $1 million was free and clear). As Gerber recalled, “There’s a group of guys that we call ‘The Boys.’ George had called me and ‘The Boys’ and said, ‘Hey, mark September 27, 2013 on your calendar. Everyone’s going to come to my house for dinner.” When they arrived, he told them that he owed his current success to them. Gerber explains: “‘George begins to say, ‘Listen, I want you guys to know how much you’ve meant to me and how much you mean to me in my life. I came to L.A., I slept on your couch. I’m so fortunate in my life to have all of you and I couldn’t be where I am today without all of you.’” Each person was given a suitcase with $1 million in $20 bills. Some of the people were really struggling, Gerber says, and this $1 million made all the difference. One year later, on September 27th, 2014, he married his wife Amal Clooney. Sounds like a movie script in the making! (E! Online)
