KAMLOOPS — The Blazers lost 6-1 to the Everett Silvertips Friday night.

Everett was deadly on the power play, going 5-for-8, including three goals in a minute and 26 seconds in the second period, all with the man advantage.

Ryley Appelt scored the Blazers goal in the third period, beating Max Palaga.

Palaga came into the game at the beginning of the third for his first action with the Silvertips since being traded from the Blazers to Everett October 29.

With the Silvertips returning home to face Seattle tomorrow night, before returning to Kamloops for a game on Sunday, they rested Dustin Wolf in the third.

When Palaga came in it was the first time in 18 games this season that someone other than Wolf was in goal for Everett.

Rayce Ramsay made his Western League debut in goal for the Blazers, replacing Dylan Ferguson midway through the second period.

Ramsay was good on 14 of 14 Everett shots.

The Blazers and Silvertips will meet against tomorrow afternoon (Sunday) at 5 pm at the Sandman Centre.
