Adel Ahmed joined the CFJC team as a TV reporter and radio anchor in January 2023.

Adel was born and raised in Surrey, B.C. and has dreamed of being a TV reporter since he was nine years old.

Prior to joining the newsroom, he got his first job in the industry as the Sports Director for CITL TV in Lloydminster after graduating from the Radio & Television program at NAIT in May 2022. Through his time there, he had the opportunity to work in several roles, including sports reporter, news and weather anchor.

In his spare time, he loves watching and playing sports in addition to exploring all of Kamloops.
