B.C. privacy commissioner rejects call by Liberals to probe NDP list sharing

VICTORIA — British Columbia’s privacy watchdog has rejected a provincial Liberal party request to investigate allegations the NDP breached personal information protection laws for sharing voter supporter lists with politically friendly groups.

VICTORIA — The British Columbia Liberal Party has filed a complaint with the province’s privacy commissioner, alleging the New Democratic Party breached protection laws by sharing its supporter list with “politically friendly” groups.
