Mother bear, cubs, caught after woman hurt in Maple Ridge, B.C., attack

MAPLE RIDGE, B.C. — The Conservation Officer Service says it has trapped a bear that may be responsible for an attack in Maple Ridge, B.C.

A woman’s face was cut in the incident that occurred on the deck of her rural home at about 8:30 p.m. Wednesday.
