Hospice home to receive new equipment thanks to Christmas campaign

KAMLOOPS — Despite a slow start to the Celebrate-A-Life Campaign, the Kamloops Hospice Association has reached a major fundraising goal. 

The campaign gives people an opportunity to place the name of a loved one on a Christmas tree located at Northills Mall for a donation.

Kamloops' homeless seeking shelter from cold and mild weather

KAMLOOPS — Cold weather shelters in Kamloops have been busy in November and December, with frigid temperatures prompting many to look for a warm place to stay. 

The Out of the Cold program, based out of St. Paul's Anglican Cathedral, has seen 43 people use their service a night.
