Jessica Lepp

Jess started her career in broadcasting after graduating from BCIT in 2011. Her first gig was in Grande Prairie, Alberta. In her short two months in the “Arctic” her passion for reporting and anchoring blossomed. It was there she also met the man, who four years later, would become her husband. That November Jess was offered a position at CHNL in Kamloops. It was there she co hosted the morning show, produced a 3x weekly talk show and covered the Cop/Court beat. Jess credits much of her knowledge of the industry to her coworkers there, who engrained in her the importance of accurate and authentic story telling. In November 2014 Jess accepted her first TV position at CFJC. She again credits the relentless efforts of her coworkers for helping her make the transition. On her days off, Jess can be found outside exploring on a mountain, reading a book, capturing photos for her blog, watching documentaries with popcorn in hand or spending quality time with her family spread out across the country.
