Dump truck stolen near Kamloops among $200,000 worth of stolen vehicles found in Lillooet

LILLOOET, B.C. — Two men have been arrested after police in Lillooet discovered $200,000 worth of stolen vehicles on a property.

In a news release, RCMP say a 2005 Peterbilt dump truck was reported stolen to Tk’emlups RCMP on April 1. The vehicle had last been seen parked near Savona on March 29.

The vehicle was seen by a Lillooet resident several days later. Police obtained and executed a search warrant for the property on Airport Road, and two suspects were arrested on scene.

Lillooet RCMP partnered with ICBC special investigators and recovered roughly $200,000 worth of stolen vehicles.
