RCMP launch homicide investigation in Valemount

VALEMOUNT, B.C. — Investigators have launched a homicide investigation in Valemount.
According to North District RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Madonna Saunderson, RCMP were called just after 11:00 Sunday morning (Mar. 10).
When they responded, they found a 60-year-old man dead.
Saunderson says the North District’s Major Crime Unit has taken over the investigation, and there is no information to suggest the public is at risk.
