PRINCE GEORGE, B.C. — Mounties are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a person allegedly involved in a suspicious incident near Heritage Elementary School Tuesday (Feb. 19).

Prince George RCMP Cpl. Sonja Blom says police received the report yesterday (Feb. 20), and says the report alleged a man in a white truck had followed an elementary school student.

“The incident occurred at approximately 2:30 p.m.,” Blom says. “The student departed the school on foot and noticed the truck parked nearby. The driver began to follow the child in his truck, taking the same route that the child was walking. The driver did not attempt to communicate with the student, however, followed the student for several blocks in his truck.”

She says the truck was last seen near the intersection of Corless Crescent and Tabor Boulevard.
