UPDATE: Coquihalla Highway closed southbound

KAMLOOPS — A vehicle incident is being blamed for the closure of the Coquihalla Highway Tuesday afternoon.
The closure is in effect south of the Okanagan Connector, between Hope and Merritt. The seriousness of the incident is not clear.
The northbound lane has since reopened, but traffic is still closed off southbound.
Drive BC says an assessment is underway.
