Missing Armstrong man found deceased

VERNON, B.C. — An Armstrong man who had been missing for a month, has been found deceased in the Vernon area.

41-year-old Brian Kyme Franklin had not been seen since Jan. 3.

Sources tell Beach Radio News, his truck, which had distinctive graphics and logos on it, was spotted by a resident in the Hartnell Road area, and was reported to police.

Police say the cause of death is not considered suspicious at this time, with the BC Coroner’s Service involved in the investigation.

“No further information will be provided at this time,”says North Okanagan RCMP Const. Kelly Brett.
