CLINTON, B.C. — The province’s rural dividend program is giving Clinton a shot in the arm under its special circumstances provision.

In a news release, the Ministry of Forests, Lands, Natural Resource Operations and Rural Development says Clinton will receive $67,000.

That money will go toward putting together a parks and recreation master plan.

The province says the Clinton application was prioritized because Clinton is among several communities “facing difficulties in the aftermath of wildfire season and other challenges in the forest industry.”
