KAMLOOPS — The Thompson Major Midget Blazers have a critical home and home weekend coming up against their Interior rivals.

The Blazers play the Okanagan Rockets in two games this weekend. The first goes at 3 p.m. on Saturday afternoon in Kelowna before the teams play at the Sandman Centre at 11 a.m. on Sunday morning.

The Blazers (16-10-0-0) come into the weekend just a point behind the Rockets (15-8-1-2) for fourth in the B.C. Major Midget League standings. Okanagan defeated the Blazers twice in September at the beginning of the year, 5-2 and 6-3.

Logan Stankoven will look to add to his league-leading 63 points.
