KAMLOOPS — The Blazers made one move today ahead of the Western Hockey League trading deadline.

18-year old forward Carson Denomie has been dealt to the Moose Jaw Warriors for a 7th round pick in this years bantam draft.

A fifth round draft by the Blazers in 2015 the Regina native played in 102 career games, scoring seven goals and 16 assists for 23 points.

General Manager Matt Bardsley says there was interest in other players, including overagers Dylan Ferguson and Jermaine Loewen.

Bardsley says he wasn't shopping either player, but did take calls on them, and is happy both Ferguson and Loewen will be here and a big part of the team down the stretch run.

Carson Denomie and Moose Jaw will be here to play the Blazers next Tuesday.
